Exe Hotel El Magistral

The hotel is part of a convention center and when you first see the building, wow, it’s something. Nice folks at front desk. Good sized room and bath. Good beds. Great view of mountains to the south out the window. Some nearby restaurants and cafes, but you have to research.

The location was excellent! And there were many restaurants and shopping areas close to the hotel.

Great location minutes away from cathedral and Gascona section with all its sidrerías (great food at LA NOCEDA). Not too noisy given its central location.

Met at reception by bi-lingual staff. they helped with check-in and advice on what food/restaurants were good close by. The location was great being in the centre and classic part of Oviedo close to the Cathedral and the starting point for the Camino Primativo.

We really enjoyed staying here. The modern room was very spacious, like a small suite, quiet (we were in the back section) , clean and comfortable . The old town and cider street were both just a few minutes walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, very reasonable value. Would definitely stay again.
